We were so excited to have the Burnses in town at the end of August. What made their visit even more special was that Meghan and Mike got engaged in Boston the night before they came to see us! It was so wonderful to see them right after the big engagement and we were happy to have an mini-celebration here on the East Coast with them. To top it all off, they asked Ellie and James to be their flower girl and ring bearer. Ellie is so excited to be a flower girl again. That Sunday I asked her if she wanted to tell our priest that she was starting school that week and she said, "No, I want to tell him the big news." When I asked what the big news was, she relplied, "I'm going to be a flower girl and James is going to be a ring bearer!"
