We went on our first vacation alone as a family of four last week and it was great! We went to Martha's Vineyard for three days. Ellie and James both did well on our trip and we all had a ball exploring Edgartown, going to the beach, relaxing by the pool and spending time together. We can't wait for our next time back there. James sat in the bebe pod yesterday for the first time. I can't believe how big he looks sitting in it. He loved being able to see his sister from this view, especially because she kept handing him toys.
Jessica propped Max up to see James on Thursday at the pool. They were delighted to stare and smile at each other. It was almost as if they recognized their best bud.
Our friends Kevin and Andrea, who were married a week before James was born came to visit last Saturday. We loved seeing them and having them meet our big boy!

We were fortunate enough to see Will and Cate twice this past Wednesday. They're so cute when they are holding hands when walking.
My mom came to visit on Sunday, July 26th for three days. We loved having her here and I'll post more photos from her visit once I have them.
