Martha's Vineyard

We traveled to Martha's Vineyard for a family vacation in late July. We stayed in Edgartown and explored the entire island. We spent our days at the beach and at the pool at our hotel. While we were there, Ellie began swimming on her own and James started to take steps too. We had a wonderful time and we can't wait for the next time we're back on island.

15 Months Old

James is now 15 months old. He had a great pediatrician appointment and his doctor described him as "charming." I have to agree with her! He's talking a lot- his new words/expressions include "wow" and "what's that?" James began to take steps independently when we were in Martha's Vineyard although crawling is still his preferred method of transportation. He absolutely loves the pool and splashes all over the place while there. James is in the 90th percentile for weight and 97th for height.

NYC with Mimi

My mom and I took the children to NYC for a quick visit. We did so many things in the short amount of time we were there: we visited Adam at work; went to FAO Schwarz, had a great dinner out, took Ellie to see her first Broadway play, Mary Poppins; walked through Central Park and visited to CP Zoo and had lunch with Erin and Sadie. It was so fun to enjoy the city with my mom and since this is the second year we've gone to the city with her, we're hoping it's an annual tradition!

Mimi's July Visit

My mom came for a visit in July. We did so many things when she was here. John and I took Ellie to see Toy Story 3 while James and Mimi walked around the mall, we went out for wonderful dinners, spent time at the pool and went out for ice cream. As always, it was wonderful having Mimi here.

Buck Hill Falls '10

We went to Buck Hill Falls for our annual trip a few weeks ago. Ellie and James had lots of fun playing with Katie and Luke. John and Corbett didn't win the entire golf tournament, but they did win their flight and James loved sitting in the golf cart during the shoot out.
