Ellie & Henry, Ellie & Finn

Ellie came to school for the Spring Concert this afternoon. She had fun playing with her friends Henry and Finn after the concert.

Sunglasses and a Raincoat

Ellie's attire today included both sunglasses (worn the cool way, inside) and her raincoat. She took her doll for a walk in the drizzle when John was reseeding the lawn.

17 Months Old Today

Ellie is now 17 months old. She spent this evening feeding her baby (and herself) and playing with her Fisher-Price Little People.

Beautiful Saturday

We bought Ellie a slide to play on outside. We were hoping to get yard work done while she entertained herself on the unsightly plastic slide, but it didn't quite work out that way. She would go down the slide when we were next to her and then would try to run away when we tried to work. Hopefully, she'll get the hang of it soon.

Ellie's Tree

John planted a tree for Ellie last May when she was six months old. It blossomed this week and looks beautiful. Ellie was interested in the pink flowers and even said tree when I pointed it out to her. Other recent words include book, keys, and nose. She also acts like a full blown toddler these days, saying both mine and no!

We went to Kellan's baptism today. Ellie had a fantastic time playing with her friends, at church and at the party afterwards.

Ellie was content in her diaper, socks and mary janes while reading Fancy Nancy. She wasn't interested in putting on her dress for the christening.
