Ellie is very lucky to have two friends in Buffalo, Quinn and Balin. She always has a great time playing with them when we're home. We went to the zoo with Quinn and some of her friends while we were home and went to an outdoor concert with both Quinn and Balin. I didn't realize how short Ellie was until she was with these kids, no surprise there! It's so wonderful for her to have playmates while visiting Mimi and Papa's house.

The main purpose of our trip to Buffalo was Bridget's graduation party. It was so fun to celebrate with family and friends. Ellie enjoyed playing with her cousins and we were able to introduce James to lots of relatives and friends. We also got to meet Bridget Georger for the first time. Bridget was born in October and is full of smiles. Ellie loved playing with her too!
One of the highlights of our trip to Buffalo was getting to meet Sadie O'Rourke Spitler. Erin and I were due the same day with the babies and we had really looked forward to the birth of their baby. Sadie arrived on April 9th and James followed 15 days later. I couldn't wait to see sweet Sadie in person and it was wonderful to get the two babies (and Ellie) together. It was awesome that Erin and Pat made the trip to Buffalo. We're sure that Sadie and James will be lifelong friends!
We traveled to Buffalo for Bridget's Graduation Party last week. It was James' first time going home to Buffalo and our first big road trip as a family of four. Overall, it was a success! Both children did well on the way there and I flew back alone with them and survived. It seemed like such a quick visit as we tried to do so many things and see so many people. James was fortunate to meet many of our Buffalo friends on his first visit there. The photos above are of James meeting Jennie, Pat, Jane, Courtney, Julie, Caroline and Linda.
James is now two months old. He's been sleeping through the night and eats 6 times a day. James is smiling more and more and has even begun to coo. Ellie gave him a morning snuggle on his two month birthday, lucky guy.
John enjoyed his first Father's Day as a dad to two. He was able to play 18 holes in the morning without a drop of rain. We then headed to CT to see his family. The highlight for Ellie was spending time with Maggie!
We went to the polo match in Newport yesterday with Dan and Laura and their kids. Ellie was happy to see the horses but seemed to have more fun dancing with Ella and making instruments out of the legs for the mini picnic table. James slept through the entire event. It was great to be outside before we were hit with more rain.
